Eliminating Digital Poverty

Since COVID19, there has been a surge in demand for laptops from children who need to attend online classes or do homework at home. While the government has provided financial support to schools to purchase laptops, there is still a lack of supply and many families with more than one child often have to share one laptop, resulting in anxiety and fights among siblings.

COVID19 has now passed but taking online lessons remains to be the norm. Many families still rely on a single mobile phone for an internet connection, which is not realistic for online learning and streaming video lessons.

Under Project Technology, we are determined to close the social gap in access to technology. We provide laptops and electronic devices to the children in need to facilitate their educational needs.
